Dermot Leahy, Ballyreilly House, Borris-in-Ossory, Co. Laois, February 25. 2020 unexpectedly and peacefully at the Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaoise. Sadly missed by his loving nephew Jonathan Leahy, fiance Irene and grandnephew James. Deeply regreted by his sister-in-law Ann, nephew Fred, sisters Marian and Loreto, brother Frederick, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, relatives and freinds.

May Dermot Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Guilfoyles Funeral Home, Castletown (eircode: R32TN84) this Friday evening from 6pm with rosary in Funeral Home at 8pm. Removal this Saturday morning at 10.15 to St. Canice’s Church, Borris-in-Ossory (via Larry’s Cross, Grangemore and Ballyreilly) ariving for funeral mass at 11am followed by buriel in Danesfort Cemetery, Kilkenny arriving for 1.15pm approx.

Mary Mostyn (née Coonan)
Sroankeeragh, Carrick-on-Shannon, Roscommon, N41 YY17 / Crettyard, Laois

The death has occurred of Mary Mostyn (née Coonan), Sroankeeragh, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Roscommon, and formerly Dromagh, Crettyard, Co. Laois, peacefully, at North West Hospice Sligo on Wednesday 26th February 2020, surrounded by her loving family, following an illness bravely borne. Sadly missed by her husband Brian, children Linda, Denise and Colin, sons-in-law Paddy and Tomas, daughter-in-law Amy, beloved grandchildren, Charlie, Harvey, Jarlath and Senan, brothers John and Martin, sisters Anastasia and Josephine, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, dear students and friends at Carrick Trad and Carrick AC, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at her home in Sroankeeragh, Carrick-on-Shannon on Friday 28th February (N41 YY17) from 5pm until 8pm. Removal on Saturday morning to St. Michael’s Church, Drumlion (N41 HD26), arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Cremation afterwards at Lakelands Crematorium, Dublin Road, Cavan. (H12 RF78). Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to North West Hospice Sligo c/o Dermot Foley, Foley’s Funeral Directors, Kilmore.

Rita Norton (née Malone)
Roseberry Court, Newbridge, Kildare / Portlaoise, Laois

Formerly of Clonkeen, Portlaoise, Co. Laois.

Peacefully, at home surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Harry. Sadly missed by her loving children Linda, David and John, son-in-law Dean, daughters-in-law Sinead and Ami, her six grandchildren, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her family home from 4pm on Friday with Rosary at 7pm. Removal on Saturday morning at 11.15am to arrive at St. Conleth’s parish church, Newbridge, for requiem Mass at 12 midday. Burial afterwards in St. Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise. Family flowers only, please.

Fergal Farrell, Brockera, Ballyfin, Co. Laois and formerly of Drumpooley, Edenderry, Co. Offaly, died 25th February 2020, unexpectedly. Deeply regretted by his heartbroken wife Lynda (neé Kirwan) and much cherished Dad to Brian, Colin, Cian and Caoimhe, parents Eileen and Brian, sisters Sinéad and Evelyn, brother Andrew, parents-in-law Josie and Tommy, sisters and brothers-in-law, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his home (R32 K262) on Friday evening from 4 o’clock, with rosary at 9 o’clock. Removal on Saturday morning to St. Fintan’s Church, Mountrath, for Requiem Mass at 11 o’clock, followed by burial in St. Fintan’s Cemetery, Mountrath. Family time only on Saturday morning, please.

Evelyn Stafford (née Gorman)
Navan Road, Dublin / Laois

Stafford Evelyn (née Gorman) (Surrey, England and formerly of Conor Clune Road, Dublin 7) February 7th. 2020, (unexpectedly). Sadly missed by her adored son Frank, cherished sister Concepta, cousins, relatives and a large circle of friends.

R.I.P.

Reposing at her home in Conor Clune Road, Dublin 7 on Thursday evening (27th. February) from 6pm until 8pm with prayers at 7.30pm. Removal on Friday morning (28th. February) to The Church of the Holy Cross, Ratheniska, Co. Laois, arriving for Requiem Mass at 12.00 noon followed by burial in the adjoining churchyard.
