Talking Sport: Laois hurlers Willie Dunphy and James Keyes on getting back to work, super skills, Shinty and 7-aside teams

Our latest Talking Sport is here and we are continuing with the same format as the previous three.

Alan Hartnett is in the presenter’s chair once again and he is joined on the line by Laois hurlers Willie Dunphy and James Keyes.

The trio chat about getting back to work in the new Coronavirus world, James’ All-Ireland title, Willie’s Dublin memories, club amalgamations, Shinty and then Alan sets them a challenge.

Both Willie and James are asked the pick their best 7-aside teams – but the teams have to be made up of players that the other person player with.

It leaves James having to choose between legends like John A Delaney, Brian Campion and Brian Stapleton while Willie is forced to pick between a number of his current teammates!

It’s all a bit of fun and some of the picks are not who you may have thought before.

The chat finishes with some quick fire questions where the pair are asked about their toughest opponent, favourite coach, most intimidating teammate and what they would be doing if they didn’t hurl!

While this will also be the final Podcast in this format as we are heading in a different direction for the month of June.

You can listen to the episode in full here and subscribe on Apple Podcasts and Spotify as well as listen on Soundcloud and Podbean.
