James (Jimmy) Birney, Crannagh, Mountrath, Co. Laois. December 31st 2022 (suddenly) at his home. Predeceased by his parents James and Teresa, brothers Tom, Joe and Ollie, sisters Teresa, Mary, Angela, Philomena and Gerri.

Deeply regretted by his brothers John and Paddy, sisters Lily and Cathleen, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and his many friends.

Reposing at Guilfoyle’s Funeral Home, Castletown, Mountrath this Wednesday evening (Jan. 4th.) from 6 o’c with prayers in the Funeral home at 8 o’c.

Jimmy’s Funeral Mass will take place this Thursday morning (Jan, 5th.) at 11 o’c in St. Edmund’s Church, Castletown,(EirCode R32 KT22) with interment immediately afterwards in St. Fintan’s Cemetery, Mountrath.

Kevin Anthony Hanly
Wolfe Tone Street, Mountmellick, Laois/Geashill, Offaly

Kevin Anthony Hanly, formerly of Wolfe Tone Street, Mountmellick, Kilcooney, Geashill and Dublin died January 2nd.2023 at The Regional Hospital Tullamore.

Predeceased by his wife Isobel.

Deeply regretted by his family Michael, Sandra, Bobby and Barry , grandchildren, relatives, family circle, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Moloney’s Funeral Home on Thursday from 6 o’clock, Recital of the Rosary at 7.30pm. Funeral arriving at the Sacred Heart Church, Killinarden, Dublin on Friday for 11 o’clock Requiem Mass. Cremation Service afterwards at 1 o’clock in Newlands Cross Crematorium.

Pascal Coss
Manor Lane, Mountmellick, Laois

Pascal Coss Pass away on the 7th of November and his wife Susan Coss pass away on the 10th of October 2017 London England UK. Predeceased by Bother Noel Coss and Sister Ann Clearey. Pascal and Susan are remembered by daughter Kerry Quinn her husband Paul and three grandsons Bobby, Paul Jnr, Jack.

Also by their son Justin Coss, his partner Miriam and grandsons Lewis, Thomas and his son Patrick Coss. Also remembered by his sister Dinah Moore and brother Herny Coss and many dear family and friends.

Requiem Mass at 12.00 noon to St. Joseph’s Church, Mountmellick. Interment of The Cremated Remains in The Family Grave in St Joseph’s Cemetery.

Peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the Regional Hospital Tullamore. Predeceased by her husband Pat, brother Eamonn, sisters Patricia, Mags and Catherine and son-in-law Peter. Deeply regretted by her loving family Caroline, Kevin, Brendan, Declan and Shane, brothers, sisters, grandchildren, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Suddenly at his residence. Predeceased by his parents James and Alice Brennan and brother DJ.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Melanie, son James and his partner Josefiina, brothers Eugene and Bosco, sisters Anastasia and Mary, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends and his loyal faithful (four legged friend) Jack the Lad.

Reposing at Maher’s Chapel of Rest, Portarlington on Thursday evening from 6:30pm with Rosary at 8pm.

Removal on Friday morning at 9:20am arriving St Michael’s Church, Portarlington for Requiem Mass at 10am. Funeral afterwards to St Michael’s Cemetery, Portarlington.

May Whyte (nee Campion), Parknahown, Cullohill, Co. Laois. January 2nd 2023. Peacefully at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny. Predeceased by her brothers Michael, Eddie, Sean and her sister Frances and recently deceased (December 30th) her brother Lot.

Sadly missed by her husband Tommy, much loved mother of Joe, Ger (Moreau), Mary-Paul (Delahunty), Helen (Walton), Clem and Lourda (D’Arcy), her adored grandchildren, John, Tommy, Bill, Tommy, Adam, Ruby, Luke, Hannah, Lilly, Orlaith, Eadaoin, Jimmy, Emma, John, Isobel and Amelia, daughters-in-law Marlene and Marie, sons-in-law Simon, Steve, Eamon and Dermot, sisters-in-law Peg and Mary, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Flood (née Armstrong), Dora (Doe) (Portlaoise, Co. Laois and formerly of Rathfarnham) 29th December 2022 (peacefully), surrounded by her loving family in the wonderful care of the staff in Tallaght Hospital.

Beloved wife of the late Charles and loving mam to Caroline, Garry, Alan, Mark and Brian; Doe will be forever loved and very sadly missed by her loving family, daughter, sons, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters, brothers, son-in-law, partners, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.
