Laois GAA will bring a motion to next year’s annual congress to do away with the preliminary quarter-finals in the All Ireland SHC and end the link between the Joe McDonagh and Liam MacCarthy Cups. Laois are the only Joe McDonagh county to win a preliminary All Ireland quarter-final when they shocked Dublin in 2019….
