Rosenallis GAA are holding a Lip Sync fundraiser in April for the further development of their club grounds.
Part of the Lip Sync build up is a series of smaller fundraisers for the groups and one of those events is a Muck Savage run in Coolagh Bog tomorrow (Saturday, March 4).

A couple of club members did a trial run earlier this week and the video posted on the club’s Facebook page gives an idea to what it all entails.

Not for the faint-hearted certainly but it looks like brilliant craic. Registration for the event continues tonight in the Rosenallis GAA clubhouse from 7pm to 9pm and again on Saturday morning from 10.30am in Coolagh Bog. The event gets underway at 12noon and we’ve been told by the organisers that it’s going ahead ‘rain, hail or snow’.

The course is 1.5km long and takes about 30 minutes to compete for “someone GAA fit” according to the organisers.

The video was filmed by Carmel Dunne and shows Marcus Redmond, Patrick Gorman, Laura Shelley and Shannon Creagh making their way around the course. Fittingly, the background music is the ‘Rattling Bog’.
