What is the minimum length of time I can join for?
One month. There is no fixed-term contract so you can cancel at any time. However you must cancel at least 24 hours before your next renewal date or you will be charged for the following month.

Am I better to join at the start of the month to get my full month’s value?
It makes no difference when you join, your monthly subscription starts from the date of your first payment and will renew on the same date the next month. So if you join on February 28, your next payment will be on March 28.
Can more than one person use the account?
You can log into your account on up to THREE separate devices. This is to allow you access the LaoisToday premium sports service on your phone, iPad and laptop, for example, and to facilitate people in the same household.
If you attempt to log in on an additional device, you will not be permitted to do so unless you log out elsewhere. LaoisToday retains the right to suspend accounts where we deem there is a suspicious level of activity.
If I cancel, is my account deactivated straight away?
No. You can still access your account for the duration of time it is paid for.
For example, if you subscribe on February 4 but cancel on February 10, you will maintain access until March 4, after which you will no longer have access.
Can I pay my monthly fee over the phone or by cheque or cash?
No. Due to the level of administration involved, we can not accept payment for the monthly €6.99 fee over the phone, by cheque or in cash. Your monthly subscription must be paid online.
How does the annual subscription work?
Our annual offer gives you 12 months for the price of 10 – €69.99. If you choose the annual option when registering online, you will have access until the corresponding date next year.
Ie – if you subscribe on March 1, 2024, you will automatically be charged €69.99 again on March 1, 2025.
If you do not wish to renew you must cancel your subscription prior to this date. It is the responsibility of the subscriber to cancel their own membership if they do not wish to renew.
I am locked out of my account and can’t log in?
One of the main reasons people cannot access their accounts is because they use an incorrect password or username.
The email you registered with LaoisToday is also your login – please remember what email address you used. You’d be surprised how many people can’t remember this!

I am regularly being asked for my password. How can I stay logged in?
If you access a premium sports article through a social media link (Facebook or Twitter) or via a Google search, you may be asked to log in.
Our recommendation is to download the LaoisToday app from the App Store or Google Play. Once you log in on the app, you will remain logged in indefinitely.
I already am a monthly subscriber but I want to avail of the annual offer. How can I do this?
Simply log in and go to the ‘Account’ section. Choose ‘View all Membership Options’. This will give you our annual membership.
If you choose an annual subscription you will be charged €69.99 at this time but you will no longer be charged the €6.99 rate.
I know some people got a hat when they signed up to the annual offer? Can I still avail of that?
No. This offer was for a limited time only over the Christmas period. The offer ended on January 12.
The annual subscription plus a LaoisToday hat option is no longer available.
You can still get a 12-month subscription for €69.99 (that’s the equivalent of €5.83 per month) BUT WE DON’T HAVE ANY MORE HATS!
