St Joseph’s got their second win in six days in ACFL Division 1A thanks to a hard-fought home win over O’Dempsey’s this morning.

Two goals from Mattie Campion in the second half were the crucial scores as Joseph’s followed on from their win over Stradbally on Tuesday night.

St Joseph’s were 0-6 to 0-3 up at half time with Campion getting two points of his eventual tally of 2-3 with Dylan Doyle scoring three and Michael Keogh one.

O’Dempsey’s had one point each Barry Kelly, Bryan Nugent and Michael Finlay.

Campion struck for his first goal 11 minutes into the second half but O’Dempsey’s hit back with four points in a row to leave just two between the sides with six minutes remaining.

But St Joseph’s steadied the ship and Campion’s goal with a minute of normal time remaining sealed the win for the Kellyville men.
