Cannabis herb recovered after search of house in Portlaoise

Cannabis herb was seized in Portlaoise

Cannabis herb valued at €500 was recovered after a planned search of a house in Portlaoise.

The find took place at Carmody Square, Fairgreen in Portlaoise on April 13.

The seizure occurred when the Garda Divisional Drugs Unit searched a house at midnight, under the Misuse of Drugs Act.

A foreign national in his 30s is currently assisting gardaí with their inquiries.
