Peacefully in the loving care of his family, beloved husband of the late Anne and loving father of Ronan, Declan, Damien and Marion. Deeply regretted by his loving family, his brothers, sister, daughter -in-law Caroline and partners of his children Shannon, Emma and Graham, grandchildren Oisin, Ben and Eoghan, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his residence from 4pm on Friday with Rosary at 9pm. Removal to The Church of The Most Holy Rosary, Abbeyleix on Saturday for 11am Requiem Mass. Burial afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.

Geraldine Killeen (née Sheeran)
Drumcondra, Dublin / Coolrain, Laois

Geraldine (Drumcondra, Dublin 9 and formerly of Coolrain, Co. Laois) – 2nd May 2017 (peacefully) at home after a short illness surrounded by her children David, Sinead, Grainne, Deirdre and Catherine. Sadly missed by her loving family, grandchildren Aoibhe, Lia Rose and Amber, siblings; twin brother Gerard, Ray, Jacqueline, Frances, Therese, John and Mark, sons-in-law and extended family.

Reposing at her home on Thursday from 4pm until 6pm for family and close friends. A Celebration of Geraldine’s Life will take place on Friday in the Glasnevin Crematorium Chapel at 2.30pm. All welcome. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu to St. Francis Hospice.

Nancy Rice
Cherrygrove, Portlaoise, Laois

Rice, Nancy, Cherrygrove, Knockmay, Portlaoise. Passed away on Sunday April 30th at Tullamore Regional Hospital. Loving mother to Belinda, Frank and Wayne. And sister to the late Frank. Deeply regretted by her loving brothers John and Paul and sister Patricia, nieces, nephews, relatives, cousins and friends.

Reposing at her family home from 7pm on Wednesday evening with rosary at 9pm. Removal on Thursday morning to arrive at SS Peter and Paul’s Church for 10am Requiem Mass. Interment afterwards in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise.

Claire O’Flanagan (née Woods)
Cork Rd., Durrow, Laois

Peacefully at her home. Beloved wife of Ned and much loved mother of David and Orla. Adored grandmother of Gemma, Mille and Ted. Deeply regretted by her loving family, sister Mary, brothers John, Tom, Liam, Ger and Des, daughter-in-law Joanna, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her residence from 2.00pm on Wednesday afternoon with Rosary at 8.00pm. Removal to Holy Trinity Church, Durrow on Thursday morning for Requiem Mass at 11.00am. Burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. House private on Thursday morning please. Donations in lieu of flowers to Rowanberry Centre (Disabled Adults) Parents and Friends. Donation box in Church.

Ellen (Nellie) Duggan (née Davy)
Ballacolla, Laois / Templemore, Tipperary

Ellen (Nellie) Duggan née Davy, Ballacolla, Co Laois and formerly Skehana, Templemore, Co. Tipperary. Peacefully, in the loving care of the staff at Heatherfield Nursing Home. Predeceased by her husband Tom, sons Trevor and Francis. Beloved mother to Pat, Breda,Tom, Michael and Freddie, much loved grandmother to Robert, Felicity, Isobel, Anna, Kate, Erika, Adrian, Sophie, Josephine and Emma. She will be greatly missed by her family, her daughters-in-law Pamela, Madeleine and Teresa, sons-in-law John and Jim, sister-in-law Anne, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her residence on Thursday 4th May from 3pm to 5pm. Arriving at Sacred Heart Church, Templemore on Friday 5th May at 11am for Requiem Mass at 11.30am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Died peacefully at Naas General Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Former Director of 4 Aces Cash & Carry.

Predeceeased by his father Bob and mother Phyllis. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Margaret, his son Robert, his daughter Fiona. His grandchildren Conor and Emily. His son in law Robert, and his son Roberts girlfriend Dominika, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing In Moloneys Funeral Home on Tuesday from 7pm – 9pm. Reposing on Wednesday morning from 11am with prayers at 12.30pm. Removal afterwards to Newlands Cross Crematorium. No Flowers please

Fleming (nee Griffin, The Swan House, The Swan, Athy, Co. Laois and formerly Castlegregory, Co. Kerry) – 1st May 2017, Margaret ‘Peg’ , peacefully at Drominin Nursing Home, Stradbally in her 96th year. Pre-deceased by her husband John.

Deeply regretted by her family Mary, Lazerian, Jim, Padraig, Leo, Margaret, Anne, Sean, Brendan and Joseph, her daughters-in-law, son-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her home from 7pm this evening (Monday) with Rosary at 9pm. Removal tomorrow evening (Tuesday) to arrive at St. Mary’s Church, Wolfhill for 7.30pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday afternoon at 1pm followed by burial in Clogh Cemetery.

Deeply regretted by his loving sisters Ann, Betty, and Agnes, nephews, nieces, grand nephews, grand nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Keegan’s Funeral Home on Monday evening from 6 pm with rosary recital at 8 pm. Removal on Tuesday to Ss Peter and Paul’s Church for 10 am Requiem Mass. Interment afterwards in Ss Peter and Paul’s Cemetery.

Deeply regretted by his loving family, brothers, Paddy and Michael, sisters Mary and Joan, grandchildren Corey and Tamin, sons-in-law, Joe and Saleh, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Keegan’s Funeral Home, Portlaoise, on Tuesday evening from 6pm with rosary at 8pm. On Wednesday, removal to SS Peter and Paul’s Church for 12 noon requiem Mass. Interment will follow afterwards in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise.

Elizabeth (Beth) McEvoy (nee Farrell), 11 Sliabh Bloom Park, Clonaslee, Co. Laois, died peacefully at her residence on the 30th April 2017.

Predeceased by her husband Michael. She will be sadly missed by her loving family, daughters Winnie and Betty, sons Michael, Jimmy and Eamon, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters Nodi and Nan, brother Paddy, brother-in-law, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her residence from 7pm on Sunday evening and all day Monday with rosary on Monday night at 9pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 12 noon in St. Manman’s Church, Clonaslee, with burial afterwards in St. Manman’s Cemetery Clonaslee. House Private on Tuesday morning, please.
