We’re in O’Moore Park this evening for the Leinster U-17 football championship semi-final as Noel Delaney’s Laois side take on Dublin.
Laois have recorded big wins over Louth and Longford to get this far but will face their biggest challenge to date against the Dubs.
Dublin were beaten by Meath in the opening round but have bounced back with wins over Offaly and Westmeath and arrive in Portlaoise on the back of a good weekend for their county football teams.
Their senior team won a seventh Leinster title in a row while the minors also won the Leinster final on Sunday with an easy win over Louth.
That Dublin minor starting team was comprised solely of players up to the age though they did introduce two U-17 players who will start tonight.
