Portlaoise GAA looking to build stand and floodlights

Portlaoise GAA are seeking planning permission for stand and new floodlights at their grounds in Rathleague.

The new application is an update on a previous one which had been submitted at the end of February.

The main part of the development is the construction of a spectator viewing stand to pitch number 1.

The club are also applying for permission for a two-metre wide walking track and six new 21.34m high floodlights.

Portlaoise also wish to move the current floodlights from pitch number 4 to pitch number 5.

They have also sought permission for retention of the following items:

Ball Wall, Gym, Temporary Dressing Rooms, Three number store containers, Machinery Shed, Two Number dug outs to pitch 4, Septic Tank and Percolation area.
