There are 13 Laois Ploughing team members set to compete in
Tullamore this week as the National Ploughing Championships get underway.

The chairman of Laois County Ploughing Jim Greene and his committee would like to wish the plough men and women the very best of luck next week.

Jim also said he would like to wish the NPA well next week in Tullamore and to thank Billy Shaw for his sponsorship of the team and all the sponsors of Laois ploughing.

The team are hoping that the recent bad spell of weather will improve to help ploughing conditions improve for this week’s national finals.
