Stradbally Vicarstown Timahoe Community Sports Hub are planning an exciting and possibly scary event this Halloween.

The group is in the process of organising a Halloween Spooktacular, in Stradbally Hall – the venue for Electric Picnic.

Working with Steam Preservation Society, there will be a ghost train and much more.

A meeting will take place this Friday evening at 8pm sharp in St Joseph’s Hall in Stradbally located just across from Simpsons Gala shop.

This meeting will give clarity as to what is needed and who is available to roll up their sleeves and get stuck into making props and painting.

SVT will then run two workshops on Saturday and Sunday where the various props to make the event a success will be constructed.

A spokesperson for the group said: “The first thing we need on Friday evening is lots of volunteers who want to make this SVT Halloween Experience a huge success in Stradbally.

“Once we get that first, the rest will fall into place.”
