Ballypickas GAA will contest the Laois Junior Hurling championship final on Sunday.
As part of the preparations for the final against Rathdowney-Errill, we took a trip up to Knock National School to see how the kids were getting on ahead of the game.
Not not all of the children identified as ‘Belgies’ but those that did were proud to tell us.
There are 67 pupils in the school which is situated just outside the town of Abbeyleix.
Principal David Finnegan has been in the school for 30 years and a number of the current Ballypickas team have been thought in Knock NS over the years.
These include: Liam Lalor, Paddy Gorman, MJ Lalor, Colin Kinsella and Kieran Bowe.
There were also a number of relatives of people on the team who were pictured.
