Powerful second half sees Ballyroan girls crowned champions

Allianz Cumann na mBunscol Girls Division 3 Football Final

The first girls title of this year’s Cumann na mBunscol football final went to Ballyroan as they recovered from an eight-point half-time deficit to run out four-point winners.

Tara McDonald was in top form for Ballyroan, scoring 4-3, while Faye McEvoy and Louise Doyle were also very impressive.

In a high-quality game, Sally Horgan was excellent for Ballyfin, scoring 2-4 of her side’s tally of 6-4.
