It was another busy day of sports action for Laois teams in a variety of codes.
The curtain was brought down on a busy GAA season with no less than four finals decided around the county as well as a host of local soccer games.
There was also a Super League basketball game with the Portlaoise Panthers going back down to a heavy defeat at home to DCU Mercy. The relegation-threatened side play fellow strugglers NUIG Mystics next Saturday.
