Photo highlights of 2017: Incredible style at the Scoil Chriost Ri Debs

Debs season is well and truly upon us

Scoil Chriost Ri in Portlaoise was one of the first schools to kick off the debs season this year, and boy did they kick it off with a bang.

As always, crowds gathered in the Market Square in Portlaoise to watch all the style.

The glitz and glamour was in full swing, the lads were suited and booted, and the girls were dolled up to the nines.

Proud mammies and grannies were on hand with camera phones fully charged and at the ready and the excitement was palpable.

I went along to get some photos and sample the feel-good atmosphere.

This was the beginning of a new chapter of their lives as they bidded farwell to their school days.
