Camross start year off on a high with win in Palmer Cup

Last year’s senior champions and Palmer Cup winners got this year off to a win against Borris-Kilcotton.

Zane Keenan was the main scorer for the black and amber men, slotting seven points and that all important end of match goal.

Keenan scored six from play with Darragh Duggan, Mark Conroy, Mark Dowling and Joe Phelan all putting over one each.

Eoin Fizpatrick did the majority of the scoring for Borris-Kilcotton with four points, including one from a free. Joe Campion and Emmet Jones both converted three points each while Oisin Fleming added one.

Camross now go on to play Castletown while Borrs-Kilcotton are off next weekend.
