Substantial housing development granted permission in Portlaoise

Laois County Council have granted planning permission for a substantial housing development in Portlaoise.

Aston Homes plan to construct 87 two-storey homes

These comprise of 60 four-bedroom and 24-three bedroom houses.

There will also be three five-bedroom detached houses.

The development will be carried out at Summerhill Lane in Portlaoise.

The project also contains provisions for a creche.

Laois County Council has attached 24 conditions to its decision. Appeals can be made to An Bord Pleanala.
