Always keen to keep ahead of the curve, Laois Pharmacy in Lyster Square in Portlaoise has recently launched a new service where customers can send presciptions to the shop quickly and easily using WhatsApp.
It’s a novel way to interact with their customers – and the service is explained in a quirky but very informative new video.
It is a fast, safe and efficient way of ordering your Prescription.
You can also message with any questions about your medication and one of the pharmacists will get back to you.
Laois Pharmacy, which is owned by the Holland family, celebrated 30 years in business in 2017 and is a customer focused community pharmacy offering a range of services including including Flu vaccination, 24-hour BP monitor service, Glucose and Cholesterol testing. They also provide FREE BMI and Blood Pressure measurement.
The make-up artists provide make-overs for €25 with €20 off Fuschia products. HD Brows are also available in store.
Step 1
Firstly, Download the WhatsApp application to your mobile phone. Then add Laois Pharmacy as a contact: 087 192 4575
Step 2
After receiving your prescription from the doctor, take a photo of the prescription.
Step 3
Using the WhatsApp application, send a message, with the photos attached, to Laois Pharmacy or simply text us to repeat your prescription.
Step 4
Somebody from the pharmacy will write back to you to confirm we have your prescription ready.
Step 5
Your medicine is ready for you to collect. Make sure to have the paper prescription ready to give to the pharmacist, as without this, we cannot dispense your medication.
