The Summer Athletics Camp is back in Vicarstown again this July

The Summer Athletics Camps is back for a third year, as Athletics Ireland, in conjunction with Oughaval AC and Stradbally/Vicarstown/Timahoe Activity and Wellness Hub will host a five day athletics camp in Vicarstown.

The camp will run from Monday, July 9 to Friday, July 13, with attendees enjoying a range of activities from 10am to 2pm each day.

It will be the biggest Athletics Camp for the summer of 2018 to be held in Laois.

Most athletics disciplines will be covered including: running and sprinting, hurdling, the long jump, the high jump, and the javelin as well as variety of fun and games too.

The summer athletics camp is open to children from six to twelves years old.

Each participant receives a commemorative t-shirt, a water bottle, a spike bag, a medal and certificate of participation.

The cost of the camp is €60 for the week, with a €10 discount for an additional family members.
