Laois ladies contest an All-Ireland quarter final against Roscommon in Moate today, Saturday, August 11.

Kevin Doogue’s side came second in group one – with their victory over Longford placing them in the All-Ireland quarter finals.

Laois failed to top their group after narrowly losing to Sligo in their second game.

Connacht champions Roscommon will be stiff competition for Laois.

These sides have played in two very close challenge matches before.

What are Roscommon like?

Roscommon have had an ideal championship season so far.

They won the Connacht championship after defeating Sligo in the final and came top of the group four to reach the All-Ireland quarter finals against Laois.

Michael Finneran’s troops defeated Meath 2-9 to 0-9 in the opening round of the group, and held a comprehensive 4-17 to 2-9 victory over Fermanagh in the final group stage.

We’re here live in Moate All Whites GAA Club from 3pm.
