In Pictures: Wild celebrations as O’Moore’s claim second ever camogie championship

Last night saw the conclusion of the Laois camogie championship – and what a final it was.

For the sixth year in a row, O’Moore’s and Camross went head-to-head in the decider.

Dermot McGill O’Moore’s battled back from a slow start and had a real gem on their side in the form of Mary Keating.

She fired over 1-7 and was incredible from start to finish as O’Moore’s won by two points in the end.

Her goal with less than five minutes to play looked to have guaranteed victory for O’Moore’s but Camross kept battling and came back to within one point as we entered injury time – however they fell short.
