Excitement is building across the hurling part of the county ahead of Sunday’s county final.
This time we sent Sarah and Siun over towards the Kilkenny border to Durrow to see how all connected to The Harps GAA are preparing for the final.
They take on Portlaoise in the Senior A final as they look to win their first ever title with their first team since they formed in 1984.
Sarah and Siun’s second stop this morning took them to the smaller of the two primary schools in the area – Cullohill NS.
Manager Fintan Deegan attended this school while so too did current defender Conor Deegan and midfielder Ronan Delahunty plus a number of other players.
The kids sported a Scooby Doo teddy-bear which certainly caught the eye.
While local woman Martina Holland also handmade a number of the knitted hats that the kids were sporting.
