Laois rugby team given honours to play at half-time in Leinster Champions Cup match

One U-12 rugby team were given the honours to play at half-time at the Leinster versus Wasps champions cup match tonight.

Portarlington RFC did the honours in the RDS and by all accounts, had a superb game and showed the crowds that the calibre of rugby is extremely high around Portarlington.

Their Leinster heros also had a very successful night, winning big on a scoreline of 52-3.

Leinster were irrepressible, scoring seven tries as they now chase down a record fifth European crown.

Wasps were completely out-classed, with this marking worst ever defeat in Europe.

The Portarlington team:

The Portarlington U12s are coached by Seamus Raben and Edmond Fardy.
