Eve Haenschke (neé Lewis) (formerly of Stradbally, Co. Laois and New Jersey, USA). October 22, 2018 (suddenly) in Dublin. Predeceased by her husband Detlev. Sadly missed by her daughter Heidi, granddaughters Clara, Virginia and Eva, her siblings Pat, Valerie, Cecil, Heather and Harry, and her extended family and friends. Funeral Service this Friday morning (26th October) at 11.30am in St. Patrick’s Church, Stradbally. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu to St. Patrick’s Church, Stradbally.

Kathleen Lucey (née Mullaney)
Kilmacud, Dublin/Castletown, Laois

Peacefully after a long illness bravely born at home while surrounded by her loving family, sadly missed by her husband Denis, son Daniel, brothers Séan, Gerard and P.J., sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and a wide circle of friends.

Kathleen will repose at home on Wednesday (October 24th) from 4pm to 8pm, Funeral Mass in the Church of St. Laurence O’Toole, Kilmacud on Thursday (October 25th ) morning at 11:30 am followed by cremation at the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome, Harold’s Cross, Dublin 6W. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to the Irish Motor Neuron Disease Association at www.imnda.ie

Ellen Doheny (nee Comerford), Gash Court, Castletown, Portlaoise, Co. Laois and formerly of Mucklagh, Tullamore, Co. Offaly. October 21. 2018. Peacefully at Beaumont Hospital, Dublin. Predeceased by her son Declan and brother John. Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by her loving husband Joe, daughter Margaret, sons Damien and Joseph, sisters Nuala and Ann, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing in Guilfoyle’s Funeral Home, Castletown, Mountrath this Tuesday evening Oct. 23rd. from 6 o’c with rosary in the funeral home at 9 o’c. Removal on Wednesday morning Oct. 24th. at 10.45 to St. Edmund’s Church, Castletown for Funeral Mass at 11 o’c with burial immediately afterwards in Churchtown Cemetery, Castletown. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association. Donation box in place at Church.

Winnifred (Una) Baker, Stillbrook, Mountrath, Co. Laois. Died October 19th Peacefully at The Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaoise. Beloved daughter of the late Patrick and Mary. Predeceased by her siblings Tess, May O Brien, Peg O Neill, Lil Fitzpatrick, Michael, John and Tom. Deeply regretted by her neices, nephews, grandneices, grandnephews, great-grandnephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and many friends.

Reposing Burke’s Funeral Home, Mountrath Sunday from 5pm. Recital of The Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Monday at 10.30am to St Fintan’s Church for 11am Requiem Mass. Burial after in Clonenagh Cemetery.

Tom Nevilledied in the loving care of Aut Even Hospital, Kilkenny. Formerly of Fethard on Sea. Retired Teagasc and former Wexford Hurler. Beloved husband of Annie and much loved father of Mary. Sadly missed by his wife, daughter, sisters Stáis and Kathleen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, Peter, Emma and all his other grand-nieces and grand-nephews, cousins, relatives, many friends especially those of his GAA family. Reposing in R. Healy & Son Funeral Home Pollerton Castle, Carlow (Ericode R93 TC53) from 3pm on Sunday concluding with prayers at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Monday at 10am in the Cathedral of the Assumption, Carlow. Burial afterwards in St. Manman’s Cemetery, Clonaslee, Co. Laois, arriving 1pm approx.

Surrounded by his loving family after a short illness. Cherished grandfather to Ellen, Eva, and Luke. Deeply regretted by his loving family, son-in-law Paul, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, relatives and friends.

Reposing privately. Funeral will arrive at Ss Peter and Paul’s Church, Portlaoise at 5pm (Note time change) on Sunday evening. Requiem mass at 11am on Monday followed by interment in Ss Peter and Paul’s Cemetery.

Margaret (Peg), beloved wife of the late Jim, and dearly loved mother to George, Seamus and Oliver. Cherished grandmother to Denise, George, Karen, Reuben and Polly. Great-grandmother to George, Sadie, and Senan. Deepy regretted by her daughters-in-law Elizabeth, Denise, and Catriona, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Keegan’s Funeral Home, Portlaoise on Sunday from 7pm, with rosary at 9pm. Removal on Monday to Ss Peter and Paul’s Church to arrive for 1pm mass. Interment will follow in Ss Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise.
