In Pictures: All style for Kyle with GAA dinner dance

Kyle GAA showed they could turn up the heat both on and off the field with their dinner dance in the Racket Hall, Roscrea, celebrating a successful 2019 season.

In August, the south Laois men claimed the first county final title of 2018.

In a nail-biting trail of events, they narrowly defeated Camross by just one point to be crowned junior ‘B’ champions.

Kyle may be one of the smallest clubs in the county, but proved they could be small, but mighty over the course of 2018.

Kyle began the championship with a good four point victory over Colt, and then backed it up with a resounding 2-15 to 1-5 win over Rathdowney-Errill.

Those back to back wins secured a semi-final berth, and they were drawn against Park-Ratheniska/Timahoe.

They managed to overcome that stern test by four points, and book their spot in the final.

It seems the only rightful way to celebrate this success was with dinner dance for the whole community – which Kyle GAA pulled off tremendously.

We were on hand to take some photos of all the finery from the night:
