Peacefully, at his residence, in the loving care of his family. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Bernie, sons Paul, Kieran, and Brian, daughter June, son-in-law Niall, daughters-in-law Paula and Geraldine, grandchildren Charlie, Sophie, Matilda and Oliver, brother-in-law ,sisters -in-law, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his residence from 2pm on Monday with Rosary at 7pm. Removal on Tuesday morning to the Church Of The Most Holy Rosary, Abbeyleix, for 11.30am Requiem Mass. Burial afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.

Family flowers only, by request. Donations, if desired, to Laois Hospice.

House private on Tuesday morning please.

Glenbrook, Ballyroan, Laois

Michael (Mick) Murray, Glenbrook, Ballyroan, Co. Laois. Founder Ballyroan Vintage Club and Former Chairman Colt GAA. Died unexpectedly, on St Patrick’s Day, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his loving wife Brigid and son Edward Patrick. Deeply regretted his daughters Breda, Carmel, Cathy, Lorraine,and Michelle, sons-in-law Denis, John, Robert, Jim and Liam, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters Kathleen and Mary, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, neighbours, relatives and many friends.

Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

Breda Fitzpatrick (née Hanrahan)
St Brigid’s Drive, Ballinakill, Laois

Breda died in the loving care of the Management and Staff of Brookhaven Nursing Home, Ballyragget, Co. Kilkenny. Deeply regretted by her brothers Fr Noel Hanrahan MHM and Michael, sister Joan O’Halloran, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Brookhaven Nursing Home from 5pm on Sunday evening with Rosary at 7pm. Removal on Monday morning at 10.20am to St. Brigid’s Church, Ballinakill, for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Fintan’s Cemetery, Mountrath.

The Very Rev’d William Beare
Bandon, Cork / Lismore, Waterford / Stradbally, Laois

Beare (Bandon, Cork, Lismore and Stradbally) on March 15th 2019, peacefully in the loving care of the staff at Cork University Hospital. The Very Rev’d William (Billy), beloved husband of the late Rose Alice (Hurley), and dear father of Walter and Rachel.

Sadly missed by his loving family, brothers Bob and George, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, fellow clergy, former Parishioners, his music students, relatives and many friends.

Funeral Service on Monday morning at 11am in St. Peter’s Church Bandon, funeral afterwards to Kilbeg Cemetery.

Patsy Doogue
(Garrons), Stradbally, Laois

Patrick (Patsy) Doogue, Garrons, Stradbally passed away peacefully on 14th March at the Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaoise. Sadly missed by his brother Joe, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at The Presentation Chapel, Stradbally on Sunday, 17th March, from 6pm with Rosary at 8pm. Requiem Mass in The Sacred Heart Church, Stradbally at 12 noon on Monday, 18th March, followed by burial in Oakvale Cemetery.

Muriel Percy (née Dagg)
Kyledellig, Ballacolla, Laois

Percy, Muriel Olive (née Dagg), Kyledellig and Ballacolla, Co. Laois. Peacefully on March 13th 2019 at Brookhaven Nursing Home, Ballyragget, Co. Kilkenny. In her 101st year. Devoted wife of the late Joseph Percy and beloved sister of the late May, Grace and twin sister Thelma and brother Melvin. Deeply regretted by her sorrowing nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, relatives and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at O’ Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Rathdowney Co. Laois on Friday, March 15th, from 2pm to 8pm with service at the funeral home on Saturday, March 16th, at 2pm followed by burial in Killermogh Graveyard.
