The Laois senior footballers are back in action this evening as they face Cork in Round 4 of the All-Ireland Qualifiers.
John Sugrue’s men are looking to reach the Supers 8s for the first time after falling at this stage to Monaghan last year.
The game takes place in Semple Stadium, Thurles, at 5pm this evening.
Laois suffered a setback four weeks ago when they lost to Meath in the Leinster semi final but they bounced back very well two weeks ago.
They defeated Derry in Owenbeg in Round 2 of the Qualifiers and followed that with a 0-20 to 0-15 win over Offaly in Portlaoise last week.
Ahead of the game, Laois boss John Sugrue has named the same 15 that started in the win over Offaly.
However, we have had changes to the team that has been named prior to the match on the day of the match itself for the last two games – so we may well have news of a change or two in our live blog below.
As for Cork, following relegation to Division 3 earlier this year, the championship has gone better.
They progressed to the Munster final after hammering Division 4 side Limerick 3-18 to 0-6 in the semi final.
But once again they fell short against Kerry, 1-19 to 3-10, for the third year running, as the Kingdom completed a seventh Munster triumph in a row.
The bookies have Cork as favourites but Laois won’t fear them and you can follow all the action as it happens below:
