We’ll admit, before this morning, we had never heard of Jimmy Jests.

But after some quick Googling, we’ve discovered that he is a Longford native – from Edgeworthstown to be exact.

Anyway Jimmy Jests, aka Jimmy Connell, has produced a very funny video about the Laois hurlers as they get ready to face Tipperary on Sunday in Croke Park.

He reckons that Laois have a chance and he also has some very funny predictions about what will happen if Eddie Brennan’s men manage to get the win.

Laois face Tipperary in the All-Ireland Quarter final which will be the third game that will be held in Croke Park on the day.

The first is a minor clash between Kilkenny and Galway with then Kilkenny facing Cork in the first of the quarter finals at 2pm.

Then it is the turn of Laois and Tipperary at 4pm in the last game of the day.

Laois have been on an incredible journey over the last few weeks as they defeated Westmeath in the Joe McDonagh Cup final in Croke Park two weeks ago.

Then last weekend, they did the unthinkable and knocked out a Dublin team who had previously eliminated last year’s defeated All-Ireland finalists Galway.

Check out Jimmy’s take on things below:
