In Pictures: Laois exodus as huge crowd head to Croke Park for big game

Brought to you in association with Treacy’s Bar and Restaurant, The Heath

Will whoever is the last person leaving Laois this afternoon, please turn off the lights?

There is an unreal crowd making its way from the O’Moore County to Croke Park this afternoon.

We also have pictures from some well wishers from different parts of the world who cannot be here today.

It’s only been twos weeks since the Laois senior hurling team claimed the Joe McDonagh Cup in Croke Park and now they’re back there again – against Tipperary in the All-Ireland Quarter Final.

The mighty Buff Egan has even been captured making the trip up.

The game between Laois and Tipperary throws in at 4pm here in Croke Park and we will bring you action from the game as it happens on our Live Blog.

Before that, Cork and Kilkenny will meet in the other quarter final.

Thanks to everyone who sent us in pictures and to our intrepid photographer Julie Anne Miller who snapped some on her phone too.
