In Pictures: All smiles at the Ballylinan Cul Camp

Brought to you in association with All Books and News Portlaoise

The ever popular GAA summer camps are continuing at pace around the county.

And one of more recent summer camps we visited was on a fine summer’s day in Ballylinan.

The sun shone brightly on Ballylinan GAA as the budding young stars of the future sharpened their footballing skills under the guidance of their Cul Camps mentors.

Laois minors past and present – Ross Bolger (Killeshin), Ciaran Burke (Crettyard), Oisin Byrne (Arles-Killeen) and Seth Burns Mooney (Courtwood) – were in charge at this one.

From the basics of defending, to accurate passing and sharp shooting, these camps have been teaching them all.

The children were glad to take time for a photo, giving them a chance to rest in the warm weather.

LaoisToday have been visiting Cul Camps around the county for the past number of weeks – and will continue to do so until the end of summer.

Our photographer Julie Anne Miller is on a trek around the county and if you see her, make sure to stop for a photo.

Check out all the photos from Ballylinan below:
