In Pictures: An evening of style at the Knockbeg College debs

Per tradition, the students of Knockbeg College turned up outside of their Alma Mater in droves before embarking on their journey to the debs.

As always, Knockbeg brought their A – Game when it came to suits, while the dates impressed in their dresses, many opting for tulle and lace gowns.

There was a great atmosphere as proud mammies and grannies pushed to get photographs before seeing off the crowd head off to the Carnegie Court Hotel in Swords.

Debs season is now well and truely upon us.

As always, St Fergal’s Rathdowney kicked off the debs season, while at the far side of the county, Knockbeg College hosted the second debs of the Laois schools yesterday.

Our photohrapher Julie Anne Miller was on hand to capture some great snaps of the debutantes before they headed off to Dublin last night.

Julie Anne will be covering debs around the county for the rest of the summer – so be sure to spot her attending yours soon!
