In Pictures: Rosenallis NS in full colour ahead of upcoming county final

County final fever will grip the county for the next month or so and we have two of them this weekend.

On Saturday evening, the Laois Junior football final will be followed by the Intermediate final.

The intermediate decider will see neighbours Clonaslee and Rosenallis clash in O’Moore Park at 7.15pm.

Back in the 2000s, Clonaslee and Rosenallis joined forces in hurling and, as Tinnahinch, reached three senior finals.

They lost twice to Castletown in 2001 and 2002 before losing again to Rathdowney-Errill in 2006.

But with excitement building for the football decider this Saturday, our photographer Julie Anne Miller took a trip out to Rosenallis NS to sample the excitement among the school children.

We had green hair and lots of smiles as Julie Anne made her way from class to class.
