All systems go as Laois sisters open ladies boutique in Portlaoise

Two Laois sisters have opened a ladies boutique on Main Street in Portlaoise, exactly nine years after they opened their first store in Naas.

Tara and Mo Nerney from The Heath have run Pretty Woman in Naas since Tara opened it in 2009 with Mo by her side for most of that time. This week they have opened a second store in Portlaoise.

Located on 82 Main Street beside McCormack’s Deli and across from O’Loughlin’s Hotel and Kavanagh’s Bar, they opened the doors for business this Friday morning.

They opened in Naas in 2009 and since then it has gone from strength to strength providing the latest fashion, good quality clothing at affordable prices.

The shop stocks casual to dressy wear receiving new stock on a weekly basis. It also stocks a large range of plus size clothes in store.

Along with clothes they also stock a large range of boots, hats, scarfs, gloves, purses & handbags.

All our clothing is sourced from Ireland and across Europe.

“We’re really excited about opening in our local town in Portlaoise,” explained Tara this week.

“It’s hard to believe it’s nine years since we opened in Naas and we’ve gone through everything in that time. I always had an interest in doing it and I remember looking at all the towns around at the time trying to get a good unit.

“We’re very lucky in Naas where we’re beside the bank and the Post Office. We’ve been looking around for the last while to get a suitable unit in Portlaoise and we’re delighted with where we’re after getting and we’re really looking forward to it.”
