Clough-Ballacolla Camogie club held their annual awards night in the community hall in Ballacolla recently.
The hall was a hive of activity with girls from all ages present.
Recently the club ran a nursery programme with boys and girls taking part under the supervision of Shane Maher and Aidan Lawless.
The nursery girls attended the awards night along with the U-6s right up to U-16s.
Chairperson Sean Duggan thanked all those who were present – children, mentors, parents, committee members and anyone who helped in anyway to keep the club running smoothly.
The club had several representatives on the Laois Camogie U-14, U-15 and U-16 squads also.
Only established in 2016, the Clough-Ballacolla Camogie club continues to grow and that is down to the hard work and dedication of those behind the scenes.
The special guest on the night was Lee Cleere who also brought along the Joe McDonagh Cup which he and his Laois teammates won during the summer.
The club’s AGM takes place on Sunday evening November 24 at 7pm in the Ballygeehan Room in the Community Hall in Ballacolla.
