In Pictures: Mountrath CS students hold Santa Dash for Pieta House

The students of Mountrath Community School took part in their annual Festive Santa Dash recently.

This was all done to raise funds for the incredible work of Pieta House.

The Transition Year students organized a fun and festive track around the grounds of the school, with sweets and water tables to line the route.

Student Amber Cuddy said that it was a really fun opportunity, on Christmas Jumper day, to have the Santa Dash as a fundraiser.

Amber said: “There was a huge entry, as so many people really understand the idea of the life saving work of Pieta House.”

The students recently took Part in a well being workshop with Pieta House.

Mary Gannon, the TY coordinator, said: “The festive fun filled day provided students with a great opportunity for the kids to raise funds for this great work.”
