William (Billie) Gorman
Woodview, Stradbally, Laois

Formerly of Mullen, Vicarstown, Billie passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family; son Keith, daughters Thelma and Charlene and his brokenhearted partner Marian. Sadly missed by his extended family, work colleagues and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at his partner’s residence 20 Woodview Stradbally, R32 Y5X5 from 2pm on Tuesday 24th December until rosary at 7pm. Removal at 11.15am on Thursday 26th December, arriving at the Sacred Heart Church, Stradbally for 12pm Requiem Mass. Burial afterwards in Oughaval Churchyard. Family flowers only. Donations to Palliative Care – donation box in church.

House private on Thursday morning please.

Patrick (Foster) Lodge
Rathmoyle, Abbeyleix, Laois

Peacefully in the care of the Regional Hospital Portlaoise. Deeply regretted by his loving brother Tom, sisters Ann (Crowe), Norrie (Roach), Betty (O’Brien), Jean (Behan), brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at the Chapel Of Adoration adjoining The Church Of The Most Holy Rosary, Abbeyleix this Monday from 5pm. with Rosary at 7pm. Removal to The Church Of The Most Holy Rosary, Abbeyleix for 10am. Requiem Mass on Tuesday. Burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.

Kilmalogue Downs, Portarlington, Laois

Late of Crumlin Dublin. Peacefully at the Regional Hospital Portlaoise after a long illness. Sadly missed by his loving family, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Maher’s Chapel of Rest Portarlington (eircode R32 X5 XV) on Friday 27th December from 4:30pm with Prayers at 6pm. Removal on Saturday 28th December at 10:20am arriving St Michael’s Church Portarlington for Requiem Mass at 11am. Funeral afterwards to Mount Jerome Crematorium for cremation service at 2pm.

Elizabeth (Liz) Monahan (née Dwyer)
47 Erkindale Drive, Durrow, Laois

Peacefully at her residence surrounded by her family. Wife of the late Mick, sister of the late John & Jim and grandmother to the late Kieran. Deeply regretted by her loving sons James and Michael, sisters Alice, Mary & Annie, daughters-in-law, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her residence from 12.00 noon on Sunday with Rosary at 7.00pm. Removal to Holy Trinity Church, Durrow on Monday afternoon for Requiem Mass at 1.00pm. Burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

John Fitzpatrick
Ashton Manor and Meelick, Portlaoise, Laois

Fitzpatrick, Ashton Manor, Portlaoise and late of Meelick, Portlaoise, December 19th 2019. At Blackrock Clinic. Peacefully surrounded by his loving family. In his 86th year. John, beloved husband to Josie. Dearly loved father to Ann Marie, Séan, Geraldine, Regina, Paula, Deirdre, Pat, Declan, Cora, Niall and Brian. Sadly missed by his loving family, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law Adored grandchildren. Sisters, brothers, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, Nephews, nieces, relatives and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at Keegans Funeral Home from 2.30 pm on Sunday with rosary at 5 pm. Requiem Mass with take place at 12 noon in SS Peter and Paul’s Church, Portlaoise on Monday. Interment will follow in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations, if desired, to Dogs for the Disabled.

Josephine Gibbons (née Conroy)
Clonaslee, Laois/Strokestown, Roscommon

GIBBONS – (nee Conroy), (London, England and late of Clonaslee, Co. Laois). December 17th 2019 (peacefully) in her 79th year. Josephine predeceased by her husband Noel (Clooncagh, Strokestown), brothers Sean and Ger, sisters, Christina, Mary and Elizabeth (Lizzie). She will be greatly missed by her heartbroken family her daughters Donna, Florrie and Margaret her grandchildren Thomas, Ailish, Niamh and Luke, sons-in- laws, Tomas and Paul, her sister Kathy, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, carers and large circle of friends. Josephine was cared for by the staff of Nazareth House and loved by everyone that came in contact with her.

May Her Gentle Soul Rest In Peace
