Late of River St., Ballycumber, Offaly / Palmerstown, Dublin / Borris-in-Ossory, Laois
Joseph died peacefully, with his family and the staff of Stewarts Care on 6th January 2020. Predeceased by his father Joe, mother Tess. Joe will be sadly missed by his sister Rose, brothers Seanie and Gerry, brother-in-law Sean, sister-in-law Kathleen, nephews, nieces, grandnephew, grandnieces, cousins, relatives and a wide circle of friends.
Remains reposing at the Llittle Chapel Stewarts Care from 3pm Wednesday, 8th January, with prayers at 4pm. Removal on Thursday morning at 11am to St. Manchan’s Church Boher, Ballycumber for Funeral Mass at 1pm. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
30 Hillside View, Clonaslee, Laois
Pat Culleton, 30 Hillside View, Clonaslee, Co. Laois. Died the 5th of January 2020, suddenly at his residence. Formerly of Kildare Chilling Company. Predeceased by his wife Kathleen and brother Kevin. He will be sadly missed by his sorrowing family, daughter Catherine, sons Patrick, David and Michael and by Patrick Nolan, grandchildren, sisters Mary, Bernie and Monica, brothers Michael and Oliver, son-in-law Bob, daughter-in-law Naomi, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.
His remains will repose in the Chapel of Rest at the Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaoise, on Tuesday from 5pm, with removal at 7.15pm to St. Manman’s Church, Clonaslee, arriving at 8pm. Funeral mass on Wednesday at 11am with burial afterwards in St. Manman’s Cemetery, Clonaslee. Family flowers only Please, donations, if desired, to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Ireland.

Peacefully at his residence in the presence of his loving family. Predeceased by his wife Vera and son Darren. Deeply regretted by his loving daughters Elizabeth and Jillian, son Kevin, grandchildren, great-grandchild, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Larkin’s Funeral Home, Edenderry this Tuesday from 6pm to 8pm with Rosary at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 12 noon in St. Mary’s Church, Edenderry followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Joe Blanc, Pattison Estate, Mountmellick, Co.Laois. Died unexpectedly January 4th 2020. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Eileen (nèe Jacob, Park Bawn Durrow). His sons Raymond, Damien, Richard and Colm and their partners Bernie, Aisling, Sandra and Cathy, Grandchildren Jack, Daniel, Patrick, Conor and Oisin. Michael (Mick) Brophy, Camross, Portlaoise, Co.Laois. Died 3rd January 2020, in the loving care of matron and staff of St. Anne’s Ward, at St. Vincent’s Hospital Mountmellick. Deeply regretted by his loving sisters, nieces, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Burke’s Funeral Home, Mountrath, on Sunday evening from 6.30p.m., with Rosary at 8.0’clock. Removal on Monday morning to St. Fergal’s Church, Camross for Requiem Mass at 11.0’clock, followed by Burial in the adjoining Cemetery.
Kathleen (Kitty) Murphy (née (Byrne)
Murphy (nee Byrne) Kathleen (Kitty) December 22nd 2019 (late of Birmingham and formerly of Borris-In-Ossory, Co Laois) (peacefully) in Birmingham. Beloved wife of the late William (Bill). Kathleen will be forever loved and very sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 10 o’clock in Mary Immaculate Church (The Oblates) thereafter for burial in Palmerstown Cemetery. All enq to Massey Brothers on 4533333.

Late of C. I. E.. Peacefully at home in his 89th year. Jack is predeceased by his son Billy and sister Vera. He will be sadly missed by his devoted wife Mary, loving son Eugene, daughters-in-law, much loved grandchildren, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, his many wonderful neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Maher’s Chapel of Rest Portarlington on Saturday from 2:30pm with Removal at 4:50pm arriving St Michael’s Church Portarlington at 5:30pm. Requiem Mass on Sunday at 12:15pm. Funeral afterwards to St Michael’s Cemetery Portarlington.
