Christy passed away, peacefully, in the Hermitage Hospital, Dublin. Predeceased by his parents Peggy and Chris, his brothers Johnny and Mick and sister Rita. Sadly missed by his son John Paul, daughter Deirdre, brother Willie, sisters Esther, Mary, Noeline and Ann, his nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.

Covid 19 protocol in place. Social distancing to be observed. Private family funeral. Memorial Mass to be organised at a later date.

Clare June 18th 2020 peacefully in the tender care of the Sisters and staff Shalom Nursing Home, Kilcock, Co. Kildare.Predeceased by her parents Jack and Katy, her brothers J.J., George and John.Deeply regretted by her sisters Bridget (Dilly) Whittle (Donard) and Catherine McMahon –Moughtin (Nottingham) , sisters-in-law Mary McMahon and Helga Perlwitz-McMahon, brothers-in-law Tom Whittle and John Cliff Moughtin, nieces Mary Whittle, Mary and Barbara McMahon, nephews Fachtna, Cathal, and Declan Whittle, John and George McMahon, grandnieces, grandnephews, Presentation Community; extended family and friends.

Br. Bernard Kelly, De La Salle Brothers, Miguel House, Castletown, Portlaoise, Co. Laois, and late of Serboy, Tubber, Moate, Co. Offaly. June 18th. 2020. Predeceased by his sisters Mollie (Seery), Annie (Coughlan), his brothers Paddy and Jimmy, Greatly missed by his nieces, nephews,, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces, confreres in religion, staff in Miguel House, relatives and friends.

Noreen Coss (née Doyle)

Coss, Noreen (nee Doyle), Grattan St., Portlaoise, 17th June 2020. Peacefully at Louise’s home. Surrounded by her loving family. Deeply regretted by her loving husband Matt, sons John Paul and Matthew. daughters Louise, Pamela, Stephanie, and Mary, brothers, sisters, sons-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, her 14 grandchildren, relatives and friends.

Given the exceptional climate and to protect the welfare of everyone who knew her, a private funeral, with immediate family only, will take place, at 12 noon on Friday in SS Peter and Paul’s Church, Portlaoise and will be streamed on the webcam. http://www.portlaoiseparish.ie/web-cam/. Burial afterwards in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise.

Rosemary (Ro) Antoinette Brennan (née O’Connor)
Templeogue, Dublin / Portlaoise, Laois

The death has occurred of Rosemary (Ro) Antoinette Brennan (nee O’Connor), Templeogue, Dublin and formerly of Portlaoise. Rosemary passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family in Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross on the 13th of June 2020. Beloved wife of Martin Brennan and wonderful mother to cherished sons Ian and Clive. Rosemary will be forever loved by daughters-in-law Dara and Jennifer and her adoring grandchildren Lily, Grace, Scarlett, Chloe and Alexander.

She will be dearly missed by her sisters Maeve, Carol and Bernadette, sisters-in-law Kathleen, Frances, Mary and Anne and brothers-in-law Sean and Alexander. Rosemary will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends. Heartfelt thanks to all the staff in St Vincent’s Private Hospital and Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross.

May her soul rest in peace.

Carnamadra, Kinvara, Galway / Castletown, Laois

Bernadette O’Connell White, Carnamadra, Kinvara, Co. Galway, (formerly of Castletown, Co. Laois). June 15th, 2020. Bernadette passed away surrounded by family in her home and garden on Monday, June 15th following a long and brave battle with illness. Daughter of the late Michael O’Connell and Patricia O’Neill O’Connell and sister of Andrew, Kieran, Anne, Jack and Nora. Sadly missed by her loving husband Paul, children Hannah, Oisin and Tessa, daughter-in-law Ruth and beloved granddaughter Freya Bea.

In compliance with current Government guidelines, Ber’s funeral Mass will be for immediate family only and will take place at 12 noon, June 16th at St. Coman’s Church, Kinvara. House strictly private please.

Late of Derry .Peacefully at the Regional Hospital Portlaoise. Predeceased by his wife Marjorie. Deeply regretted by his son Christopher, daughter Sue, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, great grandson, carers Pauline and Eileen, relatives and friends.
