In Pictures: Small crowd but lots of fun in Graiguecullen for this year’s Cul Camp

Brought to you in association with All Books, Portlaoise

The GAA Cul Camps stretch into every corner of the country and it’s no different in Laois.

Last week, Graiguecullen GAA hosted one of the six camps in Laois.

Despite being one of Laois’s biggest clubs, numbers in Graigue were down this year.

There were just two groups for coaches Jenny Murphy and Simon Hartnett, along with coordinator Erone Fitzpatrick, to contend with.

Though Graiguecullen youngesters made up the bulk of the attendance, there were some who had crossed the border from Carlow.

The weather was a bit troublesome last week with much of Friday a washout and a shortened day taking place on Monday.

However, when we visited on Thursday, everyone was in high spirits.
