This week, however, we take a look at what is available for rent in the county town of Portlaoise.
According to searches on Daft.ie, there are only 13 properties for rent in Laois in total while a search on myhome.ie throws up a further four.
Between the two, only five are available in Portlaoise, which we look at below.
