It is a very busy Friday night of GAA action and we will do our best to keep you update with events as they unfold.
We have four very significant games from the 2020 championship down for decision this evening.
In O’Moore Park at 7.30pm, Trumera and Rathdowney-Errill will clash in the intermediate hurling final.
These sides met in the drop stages last year but that was more than nine months ago so although Rathdowney-Errill won then – it is unlikely to have any baring here.
At the same time in Timahoe and Portarlington, the two junior football semi finals will throw in.
Park-Ratheniska are the last remaining ‘first’ team in the grade and they will face Ballyroan-Abbey in Timahoe.
Portarlington is the venue for the clash between Portlaoise’s third team and The Heath’s second team.
While the fourth big championship game of the evening is the junior ‘C’ football meeting of Colt and Kilcotton.
Colt lost this final in 2019 to Graiguecullen while Kilcotton were relegated from junior ‘B’ at the same time – so this one is hard to call.
That game throws in at 7.45pm and is in the LOETB Centre of Excellence.
We’ll have reporters in all four venues and will do our best to keep you updated below:
