All of Wednesday’s Laois GAA results as walkovers limit action

The first game of the Intermediate football championship took place tonight.

Park-Ratheniska defeated neighbours Timahoe comprehensively to book their place in the next round – and we have a link to the report below.

In the Junior ‘B’ hurling championship, Borris-Kilcotton had a fine win over Kyle in the semi-final.

Eoin Fitzpatrick scored a great goal in first half against the breeze which saw Borris-Kilcotton lead 1-10 to 1-8.

The Kyle goal came from sub Francis Harte but that would be as good as it would get for them.

Second half goals from Eoin Fitzpatrick and Colm Delaney along with great points by Willie Abbot, Barry Wall and Chris Jones paved the way for Borris-Kilcotton’s 14 point win.

They will now face Rosenallis in the final after they overcame Rathdowney-Errill in a penalty shootout last night.

Meanwhile, two teams collected points in the Junior football championship after receiving walkover.

Kilcavan and Castletown have wins after receiving the game from Camross and The Harps.
