LIVE BLOG: Follow all the action from Thursday’s SFC and IFC Round 2 action

The Laois GAA action continues tonight with three more games down for decision.

Round 2 of the top tier football competitions gets underway with games in the SFC and IFC down for decision.

All games are at 7.30pm – taking place in O’Moore Park, Stradbally and Annanough.

The first of the senior games is between Clonaslee and Ballylinan – and it is a do or die for both.

2017 defeated finalists Ballylinan were desperately unlucky to be beaten by Rosenallis in Round 1.

While Clonaslee never really laid a glove on St Joseph’s who eased to a comfortable win.

Ballylinan are set to welcome back Jamie Farrell and Gary Walsh from suspension for tonight’s game.

Meanwhile, there are two IFC games that carry significance also. A place in the semi finals is up for grabs when Park-Ratheniska and Crettyard meet in Stradbally.

Quarter finals or a relegation final is on the line when Timahoe meet The Rock in the other encounter.

All three games could be close and with plenty on the line, don’t be surprised if we have extra time in one of them.
