Two Laois players selected on first Women’s Rugby National Talent Squad

Two Laois players have been chosen on the IRFU’s first ever Women’s National Talent Squad. Portarlington’s Alannah Fitzpatrick and Kilcavan’s Leah Tarpey, who plays for Tullamore, are among those chosen. Stradbally native Alan Hartnett is a graduate of Knockbeg College who has worked in the local and national media since 2008.
