Margaret died peacefully surrounded by her family in the exceptional care of The Midland Regional Hospital, Portlaoise. Predeceased by her parents Mick and Bridie and beloved brother Michael. Deeply regretted by her husband Jim, daughter Sonya, son Shea, sister Alice, daughter in law Marie, brother in law, sister in law, adored granddaughters Annie and Ellie, extended family, neighbours, relatives and friends.
Funeral to arrive at St.Brigid’s Church, Ballinakill for Funeral Mass on Sunday at 2oc which can be viewed on the link https://www.ballinakillknockparish.com/. Interment afterwards in St.Brigid’s Cemetery, Ballinakill.Those wishing to sympathise may do so in the Church and Cemetery on Sunday.
Thomas (Tom) Landy
Whitefields, Portarlington, Laois/Castletown Kilpatrick, Meath
Formerly of Castletown, County Meath. Peacefully at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Mattie and Imelda. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Mags, son Andrew, daughters Claire, Jane, Amanda and Lynn, sons-in-law Barry, David, Will and Juan, grandchildren Josh, Cormac, Luke, Adam, Madison, Katie, Calum, Lexi and Jonas, brother Ken and his wife Carol, sister Siobhan and her husband Seamus, uncle Tommy, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Removal on Tuesday arriving St John’s Church Killenard, Portarlington (eircode R32 VW77) for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Died 10th of December 2022 peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his Grandfather Patrick Dunne. Deeply regretted by his loving parents Martina and Kevin, his bothers Rian and Darragh, grand parents Bridget Dunne, Eddie and Sadie Coss, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and a large circle of family and friends.
Reposing in his home (11 Grove Park, Mountmellick) on Sunday from 3pm. Recital of the Rosary at 6pm. Removal on Monday morning at 10.40am to St Joseph’s Church, Mountmellick arriving for 11 am Requiem Mass.
Burial afterwards in St Joseph’s Cemetery, Mountmellick. House private on Monday morning please. Donations in lieu to Laura Lynn Foundation.
Christine (Chris) O’Reilly (née Shelton)

Christine (Chris) O’Reilly (nee Shelton), Ard Erin View, Camross, Portlaoise (Eircode R32 C973) and Borris in Ossory, December 9th, 2022. Peacefully, at The Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaoise.
Predeceased by her husband Thomas (Tom) and son Gary. Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by her loving children, Kate, Paddy, Maggie, Jonny and Kelly, sons in law, daughters in law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing in her home, 2 Ard Erin View, Camross Village this Monday evening (Dec.12th.) from 4 o’c with rosary in the house at 8 o’c. Funeral mass on Tuesday morning (Dec.13th.) in St. Fergal’s Church, Camross, at 11 o’c with burial immediately afterwards in Derrinsallagh Cemetery, Borris in Ossory.

Br. Timothy (Pat) O’Shea, De La Salle Brothers, Castletown, Portlaoise and late of Drombohilly, Tuosist, Kenmare, Co. Kerry and Waterford. December 6th, 2022.
Predeceased by his Parents Jeremiah and Brigid, brothers and sisters. Deeply regretted by his sister Agnes (New York), sisters in law, nieces, nephews in Dallas, New York, London and Ireland, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family, relatives, past pupils, friends and especially by his confreres in religion, the staff in Miguel House and the De La Salle College, Waterford.
Reposing in Miguel House, Castletown (Eircode R32 FK02) from 11am on Tuesday (13th. Dec.) with evening Prayer and Rosary at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday (14th. Dec.) at 3 pm in Castletown Parish Church, followed by burial in the Monastery Cemetery, Castletown.
Janice Manuel (née Green)
Dublin/Portlaoise, Laois
Manuel, Janice (née Green) (late of Portlaoise, Co Laois, Kent, England and Dublin) 9th December 200, peacefully in the loving care of the staff of St. Mary-Theresa’s Ward, St Vincent’s Community Nursing Unit, Co Laois, beloved Mum of Jason and loving Nan of Shaun and Caiden; she will be very sadly missed by her loving sons, Jason’s partner Katie, grandchildren, brother, nieces, nephews, relatives and wide circle of friends both near and far.
Reposing on Sunday from 2pm-4pm at the Larry Massey Funeral Home, 100 Terenure Road North. Funeral to take place on Monday afternoon at 3.45pm in the Garden Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross. (followed by cremation).
