New hurling manager Maher lauds the quality of players in Laois as 2023 season gets up and running

Laois hurling manager Willie Maher says he has been really enthused with the attitude of his panel ahead of their season opener this Sunday against Wexford in the Walsh Cup in Mountrath. Maher was appointed to the job last October, replacing Seamas ‘Cheddar’ Plunkett who had been in the role for the previous two seasons….
