Mary Meredith Bayley (née Townsend)

Mary Meredith Bayley (nee Townsend) passed, peacefully, on Friday, 24th February, surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her loving husband’s Joseph Meredith and Griffith Bayley, deeply missed by her children Derek, Kenneth, Lorraine, Jackie and Alan, sons-in-law Garvan and Kieran, partners Mary and Dency, grandchildren, great -grandchildren, the Bayley family, her sisters, brother, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her home R14 WP64 on Monday 27th from 3pm, concluding with prayers at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday 28th at 11am in St. Michael’s Parish Church, Athy. Burial afterwards in Ballintubbert Cemetery R14 H027.The Funeral Mass will be live streamed and can be viewed by clicking on the following link Athy Parish Webcam.

Tony (Soupy) Farrell
3 Oakley Park, Graiguecullen, Carlow / Graiguecullen, Laois

The death has taken place of Tony (Soupy) Farrell, 3 Oakley Park, Graiguecullen, Co Laois, on February 25th, peacefully in the presence of his devoted daughters Karen and Ashleigh.

Predeceased by his grandson Craig Kehoe, his parents John and Sarah, his brother Paddy and his nephew John Farrell.

Sadly missed by his heartbroken daughters, grandchildren Ricky, Elly, Mikey, Cody and Tamzynn and their granny Liz.

Sisters Mary-Jo and Betty, brothers Maurice and John-Joe, son-in-law Ivan and Karen’s partner John, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, his nieces, nephews, his many good friends and his kind neighbours in Oakley Park.

Reposing at his home, 3 Oakley Park, Graiguecullen (Eircode R93 H9R6) on Sunday, February 26th, from 2pm, with Prayers at 7pm.

Removal on Monday at 1.15pm to St Clare’s Church, Graiguecullen, (via Chapel St.) arriving for Funeral Mass at 2pm. Funeral afterwards to St Mary’s Cemetery for burial.

Tom Walshe . Laurel Court, Dublin Rd Portlaoise February 24th 2023 Peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Beacon Hospital . Predeceased by his loving wife Moira and infant son John. Dearly loved father to Shane, Caroline and Aoife. Cherished grandfather to Quiva Sarah, Cillian, Ella-Rose, Daniel, Sophie, Danielle, Cathal and Archie. Deeply regretted by his daughter in law Niamh and son in law Donal. Sister Maureen. Brothers John, Jim, Dinny and Pat. Brother in law, sisters in law. Nephews, nieces. Great neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at Keegan’s Funeral home on Sunday from 6.30 pm, with rosary at 8 pm Funeral arriving at SS Peter and Pauls Church on Monday for 2 pm requiem mass. https://www.portlaoiseparish.ie/webcam/ Funeral will follow afterwards to Knockaroo Cemetery Borris in Ossory. Natalia Pilch. Rathevan Heights . Portlaoise. Co. Laois. Feb 23rd 2023 after an illness borne with dignity and courage. Dearly loved and cherished mother to Michal Marczeski. Loving daughter to Ewa and Ryszard Pilch. Sister to Karolina. And aunt to Kacper. Natalia will be sadly missed by her best friend Anna.

John Dunne

Manchester, England and formerly of Rathmoyle Road, Abbeyleix. Predeceased by his wife Edna. Deeply regretted by his loving son David, daughter-in-law Claire, granddaughter Molly Dunne, grandson Kieran Stewart-Dunne, relatives and friends.

Requiem Mass on Tuesday, 28th of February, at 10am. in The Church of The Most Holy Rosary, Abbeyleix. Interment afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Ballyroan Road, Abbeyleix.

Brennan Susan, Greenview, Mountmellick Rd., Portlaoise. February 19th 2023. Died suddenly at Tallaght Hospital. Beloved wife of the late James. Precedeased by her son James. Loving sister to Beverly Miles and Eddie. Deeply regretted by her loving, sons Christopher and Patrick, daughter Sally, daughter in law Margaret, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
