By waiting until 3.30pm to have their parade, the community of Rosenallis escaped the worst of today’s St Patrick’s Day weather.
And they duly had a fine turnout for their latest community effort.
Across the county in Rathdowney, Operation Transformation leader Andrea Daly was the grand marshal of their parade as a huge crowd attended to take in the festivities.
